Word of the Week, May 31: Opportunities

Summer is upon us! That means great opportunities for children and youth for youth choir tour, camps, summer music and theater productions and VBS! We invite you to add our children and youth enjoying these special ministries to your prayer list. Plus, encourage the children and youth you know to sign up for these wonderful summer experiences!

We start our June sermon series this coming Sunday, Quoting Jesus. We will investigate several passages from the Gospel of Mark. On this first Sunday, we will read from Mark 2:23-3:6. It is another encounter between Jesus and the Pharisees. The controversy is over how best to observe the Sabbath. Join us for the sermon “The Sabbath Was Made For…”.

Reminder: A week from Sunday on June 9 we will have one combined unity service at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary. Dr. Joel Panciera and our excellent Chapel Choir will lead us in the service! It will be a wonderful time to be together!!
