Word of the Week: Momentum
We continue to work, serve, and study together at Boston Avenue. We have scores of people enrolled in classes this Fall. Our teachers are well-prepared and passionate about Christ and helping people move more deeply into their discipleship. Serving the under-served is happening regularly. You can serve young students as we partner with Burroughs Elementary this month – check out the Burroughs Apple Tree.
Sunday School for all ages happens every Sunday morning. Find a class and feed your soul this semester. We have small classes and large classes. We have lecture classes and discussion classes. We have classes for children, youth and adults. Find a place and grow in your faith at Boston Avenue.
We also continue to worship together at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 every Sunday morning. This month we are studying Ancient Wisdom for Modern Times. This coming Sunday, we stay in Proverbs, reading from Chapter 1:20-33. This section extols the virtues of wisdom and how we can grasp deeper wisdom. Join us for the sermon Can Old Dogs Learn New Tricks?
The momentum is building at Boston Avenue! Join us and add to the energy and vitality. You can join worship in person, via KTUL Channel 8 at 11:00 a.m., or by livestream at 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. You can attend Sunday School in person or via Zoom for all of our adult classes. If you are able, grab a friend and come down to 13th and Boston to connect with the unconditional love of God through this community of faith! I will hope to see you Sunday!
