Summer Camps 2026

Boston Avenue United Methodist Church provides age-appropriate camps throughout the summer that focus on faith formation and fellowship with other campers, all within a fun, safe setting.

Here are the camps for 2026!

For Children

Night Owl Nature Camp – FREE
June 1-4 from 3:30-9pm (NAIFEH RANCH, SAPULPA)
Open to 3rd through 6th Graders. Night Owl Camp is 4 day, evening camp. Children will help build a fire and cookout, explore nature, make crafts, play games, and discuss Christian community through creative expression and singing at evening outdoor worship. Pick up and drop off at the Boston Avenue UMC. Register at bit.ly/NightOwl2026.

Sonshine Camp – $55 (before April 15); $65 (after)
June 20-21 (CAMP EGAN)
An introductory camp for our youngest campers. A family member is encouraged to attend as a shepherd. Campers will return with stories of outdoor adventures and workshops like science, art, hiking, and music! Our Children’s Director is one of the deans! Register for “Sonshine at Egan” at OKCamps.org, transfer code 74119 (You will see the camp listed at full price, BAUMC will cover half the cost).

For Youth

Egan Youth Camp – $420.00 (before April 15); $440.00 (after)
June 8-12 (CAMP EGAN)
A place where students can feel welcomed, loved, and affirmed. Students will be met right where they are, just as they are so their faith can be moved forward. While at camp students will have life-changing experiences through worship, small groups, nature, loads of fun, and making new friends. 

5th & 6th Grade Camp – $380.00 (before April 15); $400 (after)
June 15-19 (CAMP EGAN)
A week-long opportunity for campers to experience living in community with others, with God, and in Creation. All campers will enjoy swimming, hiking, playing games, and more! Campers will return home knowing more about who they are as individuals, as members of a community, and who they are in relation to God.

LEAD Camp – $440 (before April 15); $460.00 (after)
July 13-17 (CROSS POINT CAMP)
A 5-day leadership development camp geared toward United Methodist Youth filled with worship, fun activities, leadership classes, trainings, and more! This camp is open to youth (8th grade and above) recommended by the Youth Director. To request for your youth to attend, contact Keith Bethell.

The Great Unknown – $100.00
Middle School: June 29-July 1; High School: July 1-3 (BOSTON AVENUE UMC)
A time for youth to build relationships with others as we serve and have fun together. You will sleep at the church each night, and during the day, we will have a mystery schedule. In our mystery schedule we have fun activities, service projects, worship and more. But no one knows what’s coming each day. But that’s why it’s GREAT and UNKNOWN.

Camp Anytown – $450.00
July 19-25 (OSU STILLWATER)
Anytown Leadership Institute promotes self-confidence, leadership, and inclusion in a diverse atmosphere; the program is often described as a “life-changing” opportunity by delegates who attend. Youth ages 14-18 from across the state are eligible to participate and encouraged to apply to this award-winning, human relations program. To request for your youth to attend, contact Keith Bethell.
