What to expect
Our stunning art-deco building can be intimidating, but you’ll find us friendly and welcoming! If you’re visiting on a Sunday morning, there should be a smiling greeter to welcome you and help with any questions!
When is worship?
Traditional Worship Services are held at 9 and 11 a.m. in the Sanctuary.
Join us digitally at 11 via livestream our website, YouTube, or Facebook page, or catch us on television on KTUL-TV, Channel 8.
Modern worship service, called 13th Street Worship, is held each Sunday at 10 a.m. in Community Hall. This contemporary worship service is more casual and interactive, with an inclusive and affirming community. You can also join us for online worship on our 13th Street Worship Facebook page!
What is Sunday School?
Sunday school (held Sundays at 9:50 a.m.) is a time for all ages to grow in faith and fellowship.
Children engage in age-appropriate art, games, science, cooking, and more to explore Bible stories.
Youth Sunday school provides an opportunity for middle school and high school youth to grow deeper in their relationship with God, one another, and the world around them.
Adults have a variety of classes to choose from, often consisting of similar age-and-life-stage cohorts, but each class fosters faith formation, fellowship, and care through a wide variety of study, events and missions.
Where do I park?
There are parking lots located to the north, south, east, and west of the church – please park in whichever is most convenient for you! Handicapped parking is available in all lots. If you would like assistance getting from your car to the church building due to mobility, children, etc, catch a ride with Willard on the Circuit Rider, our hospitality golf cart, which serves the north and south lots from 9:30 – noon.
Can I take Communion?
Yes! We celebrate an open table – all are welcome to participate! Holy communion is served in worship on the first Sunday of each month; brief Communion services are held every Sunday at 8:45 a.m. and 12:05 p.m. in Rose Chapel.
Holy Communion is also served each Sunday in 13th Street Worship.
Is there child care available?
Yes! Child care is available on Sunday morning for infants through preschoolers from 8:30 a.m. until noon. All childcare providers (as well as children’s and youth leaders and those working with vulnerable adults) are trained in and practice our Safe-Sanctuaries policies to ensure the safety and well-being of those trusted to our care. Age-appropriate activities are available in our children’s department for children older than preschool age.
