Our vision
Boston Avenue seeks to be a thoughtful Christian community that connects all people with God’s unconditional love. One of our core values is that we affirm that everyone is a beloved child of God. This core belief permeates our church life and ministry as we live out scriptural teachings to love one another.
Another of our core values at Boston Avenue is that we see spiritual growth as a lifelong journey. We join alongside you wherever you are on your spiritual path, whatever questions you may be asking. We offer robust, age-appropriate children’s, youth, and adult programs, as well as nursery care on Sunday mornings, to serve you and your family as partners throughout your faith journey.
As the United Methodist denomination presently experiences turmoil, visitors often have questions about Boston Avenue’s theology and its relationship with the United Methodist Church. Boston Avenue is an affirming and inclusive church community, and we joyfully and unconditionally welcome all people into membership, leadership, and participation in the life of the church.
We plan to remain part of the United Methodist denomination as we continue to draw on the rich Wesleyan teachings and heritage of the faith.
