Great interview! Thanks for the dialog! Welcome Rev. Powers. Thanks, David for your love & leadership!

Have you visited the table in Bishops' hall to contribute to the scrapbook in celebration of Rev. David Wiggs? Members of all ages are encouraged to write letters or decorate a scrapbook page with your memories, reflections on Rev. Wiggs' ministry, and notes of gratitude.🩷

This is also a last call for photos of Rev. Wiggs and his family across the years of ministry (please upload them at cluster.co/i/7JCZDB7A before Tuesday afternoon)

Support our youth choir!

Unfortunately, due to repeated airline delays and cancellations, our Chapel Choir had to cancel their choir tour.

You can be a source of encouragement!

Help spread the word and fill the Sanctuary for this Sunday's 11 a.m. congregational unity service, which will serve as Chapel Choir's "home concert" - and is now their biggest opportunity to share all of the pieces they have put so much work into. This service will be anchored by the anthems and songs the youth have been rehearsing, with prayer and devotional interspersed.

Support our youth choir!

Unfortunately, due to repeated airline delays and cancellations, our Chapel Choir has had to cancel their choir tour and are now scheduled to return home to Tulsa via bus early this evening. Quite understandably, they will be experiencing some grief and disappointment right now.

You can be a source of encouragement in two ways!

1) One of our members is organizing a (somewhat surprise - youth, if you are reading this, don't tell your busmates!) welcome home party with balloons, signs, etc. for when the Chapel Choir members and adult chaperones arrive at the church tonight. People will begin gathering around 6/6:30 p.m. this evening at the church, with the bus arriving sometime around 7 (given traffic, construction, etc, arrival times are an estimate). If you can attend or invite others who are invested in our youth, please do!

2) Help fill the house for this Sunday's 11 a.m. congregational unity service, which will serve as Chapel Choir's "home concert" - and is now their biggest opportunity to share all of the pieces they have put so much work into. This service will be anchored by the anthems and songs the youth have been rehearsing, with prayer and devotional interspersed.

Very sad that this happened. I was looking forward to hearing the choir. AA should have to come up with a lot of money for the awful treatment.

We need your help!

Rev. David Wiggs is retiring, and our Boston Avenue UMC community wants to reflect on his incredible ministry. We invite all members of the congregation and anyone who knows the Wiggs family to contribute to a special scrapbook we're creating to commemorate his service.

📝 Join Us in Bishops' Hall 📝 Over the next two Sundays, we'll have a table set up in Bishops' Hall where you can write letters or decorate a scrapbook page with your memories, reflections on Rev. Wiggs' ministry, and notes of gratitude.

If you prefer, you can write your note ahead of time and enhance it at the scrapbooking table. If you have photographs to include, please bring them. We also welcome any scrapbook supplies you can donate (paper, stickers, embellishments, etc.) to share with others – just leave them on the scrapbook table station on Sunday.

📷 Share Your Photos 📷 We're also collecting photos of Rev. Wiggs and his family across the years of ministry. If you have photos to share, please upload them here at cluster.co/i/7JCZDB7A

We look forward to creating this small overview of the impact Rev. Wiggs has had on Boston Avenue, and the Tulsa community at large!
