Rev. Amy Venable

The Rev. Amy Venable returned to Boston Avenue in June, 2017. A Tulsa native who was baptized and raised at Boston Avenue, she is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and Washington University in St. Louis, where she double-majored in French and International Studies. An ordained elder, she completed her Masters of Divinity degree at Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University. She served for six years as an Associate Pastor at Boston Avenue Church, then for seven years as Senior Pastor of St. Stephen's United Methodist Church in Norman. More recently, Rev. Venable served as Primary and Middle School Chaplain at Holland Hall in Tulsa, where she oversaw religious education for children ages three to eighth grade.
