Boston Avenue's Boy Scout Troop 20 is the oldest continually-meeting scout troop in Tulsa, and it is very active!

In February, the troop participated in a Merit Badge Fair in Bartlesville and in March, they camped at Devil’s Den in Arkansas.

During the past year, the troop has had over 30 days and nights of camping including a week of summer camp at Camp Tom Hale in southeastern Oklahoma. A small group of T-20 scouts and adults rode bicycles across Oklahoma as part of Freewheel 2006.

This summer, twelve Troop 20 members will be going on a high adventure to Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico, and backpacking for eleven days in the mountains there.

Individual scouts continue to achieve ranks and merit badges along with setting record popcorn selling marks. Three members of the troop were recently recognized for reaching the rank of Eagle Scout in a Court of Honor Ceremony at the church.

BA's Boy Scouts Troop 20 members enjoy a day at the lake.

Troop 20 is open to any interested boys age 11-18, and also to adults who would like to be involved in leadership roles. Please contact Audra Fogle, 699.0130, for more information.
