Whether it be around the corner or across the globe, it is our mission to share the love and message of Christ to others in need. Boston Avenue supports and provides many different opportunities to serve others, as we in turn grow in spirit and faith.

These opportunities include:

No matter what your talents are, you can be of service to others. When you are called to serve in any of our missions, you will be blessed in ways you can't even imagine as you "love others as yourself."

The following are just a few of Boston Avenue's regular annual mission projects:

- July Mission Emphasis Month
- Downtown for Good

BA Missions Committees

Work Area on Missions Committee
The Work Area on Missions meets monthly and members serve on subcommittees to plan and implement mission outreach and hands-on service opportunities. It supports two mission experiences each year; one foreign/domestic and one local.

Local Missions Subcommittee
The Local Missions Subcommittee is responsible for our Lights On for Cookson campaign to help pay utility bills at our Methodist mission among the Native American population in Cookson, Oklahoma, an area with significant needs. The church is in a covenant relationship to help support the Rev. Meri Whitaker, the missionary assigned to Cookson.

If you have any questions about our mission opportunities, please contact our Director of Missions, Paul Staat, at 918.699.0133.
