Fast Track Disciple One, 6:00-7:30 p.m., September 6 - December 6, 2017 AND January 10 - April 11, 2018
Have you wanted to learn more about the Bible but didn’t really know how to do that? Or wanted to read through the text in a year? Our Fast Track Disciple One course is a great opportunity for you to get to know more about the Bible while studying with a community of love and understanding! This 24-week course will be broken up into the Old Testament in the fall and the New Testament in the spring. Each day, participants are asked to read the assigned 3-5 chapters, then come to class to discover how it applies to life now. In this year-long overview of the Bible, you’ll learn about the Bible from theological, historical, literary and social perspectives. You’ll grow in your walk with God and grow in your understanding of community with fellow classmates. We invite you to join us and to allow God’s word to grow in your life! Facilitators: Rev. David Wiggs and Rev. Sara Pugh Montgomery

**Fast Track Disciple Two on MONDAYS, 6:00-7:30 p.m., September 11 - December 4, 2017 AND January 22 - April 23, 2018
Fast Track Disciple Two takes the wide frame lens of Disciple One and narrows it into four particular books of the Bible. In the fall, participants will study Genesis and Exodus, delving further into the narrative of the formation of the Israelite tribes along with their freedom from slavery. In the spring, you’ll flip many years ahead to the Gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts. These two books, written by the same author, chronicle a unique perspective of Christ’s life and the beginning of the church. Join us for this more in-depth look at these four books and the ways that God is still speaking truths found from these narratives today! Facilitators: Judy Rowell and Carol Grim.
