Senior High Sunday School is held on Sunday mornings from 9:40 to 10:40 a.m. on the fourth floor of the main building. All senior high youth first meet at the Coffee Bar for refreshments, and then head to Room 420 for announcements, joys and concerns before breaking into smaller classes.
Since the interests and needs of youth are so diverse, we offer a choice of classes. Class sizes are limited, so first choices are not always available, but we make every effort to work with each youth to get the class that best suits his or her interests and needs. These classes can include a movie and discussion in our Theater Room, a hands-on creative project in the Art Room, or perhaps more of a discussion or topical study in one of our cozy classrooms.
Youth are asked to make a commitment to attend a specific class for each session. That commitment is important to the youth and leaders of the class. Facilitators use United Methodist Curriculum in these option-based classes. Each class is designed to help youth in their journey of faith.
When we aren't offering classes, we always have a speaker or presentation together in Room 420. We try to bring relevant, exciting lessons for you. Our goal is for you to grow in your Christian journey.
