Children & Tragedy Resources

We are all shocked and saddened by the tragic events in Newtown, CT. Our children are so precious and we do everything in our power to protect them. It’s times like these that shatter that sense of security in ourselves and in them. Below are some excellent resources for dealing with tragic events with children. Feel free to read them and then discuss with your children what you feel is appropriate according to their age, questions they’ve asked and what they’ve seen or heard about this shooting.

Remember to hug your children everyday and tell them how much you love them. Remind them that God is with them and wants only good to come to all.
