PLEASE NOTE:
- Registration deadline for all Conference Camps is May 15, 2010 (or when the camp fills up, whichever comes first) – Please DO NOT register through the Conference Office, as it will affect your cost.
- Boston Avenue Church will pay half of the cost of ONE camp for our church members.
- One check, payable to "Boston Avenue Church," may be written to pay for all of the camps.
- All registration fees must be paid in full prior to camp starting.
- Only ONE Official Transportation and Medical Release Form needs to be completed for each participant regardless of how many camps he/she is enrolled in.

June 14-18 — For rising 1st-8th graders
Time: 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (bring your own lunch)
Closing Performance for everyone Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.
Come “Unleash Your Creative Spirit” with us. Enjoy dance: such as stomp, ballet, jazz, modern, liturgical and more; hands on art such as clay, Tye Dye, recycle art, candle making, leather tooling, duct tape art and more.

June 21-24 — For rising 3rd-5th graders
Time: 3:00-9:30 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: This camp runs from Monday through Thursday night.
It is our hope that you and your child commit to “perfect” attendance for all four nights. Activities include cooking out, exploring nature, crafts, hiking and discussing together what it means to belong to a Christian community.
Cost: $20.00 (covers transportation, insurance, supplies)

— For rising 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders
The JOYful noise of music, the enJOYment of active learning, expressions of JOY on children’s faces – these are the JOYs of JOY Camp! In this camp, campers choose creative arts and movement classes they want to attend. Classes focus on the way the church uses the arts in worship – vocal music, instrumental music, drama, the written word, dance/movement, visual art, verbal expression, etc.
Cost: $60 for Boston Avenue members, $122 for non-members

Time: 9:00-11:45 a.m.
Closing Celebration for everyone Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m.
Cost: $5 for t-shirt
Vacation Bible School 2010 cadets will voyage into outer space praising God through daily missions. Cadets will see space like never before, gaining a new perspective on our planet earth, and learn easy “green” earth tips they can practice at home. This cosmic combination of faith and fun will have cadets developing a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Come “BreakAway” from VBS with your friends and explore what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ! Each day we will join in the opening ceremonies of VBS then “BreakAway” to various sites around the city for mission activities.

Music & Drama Camp

July 6-9 — For rising 2nd-6th graders
Time: 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: THIS CAMP HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR 2010
DUE TO LOW ENROLLMENT.
Closing Concert for everyone on Friday evening at 7 p.m.
Campers will learn and perform choral music of the highest quality appropriate for their age level. Children will also develop camaraderie and artistic skills by enjoying drama, art, and handbell classes, plus a wide variety of recreational activities – swimming, bowling, etc.
Cost: $75 (covers lunch & materials)

July 12-14 — For rising 1st-5th graders
Time: 6-8 p.m.
Girls and boys will learn more about sports, discover character-building concepts from the Bible that will help them Go the Distance as an athlete and in life, and have a whole lot of fun.
NOTE: Parent volunteers are needed to help make this event “a go.”

SonShine Camp

SonShine Camp is a great first camping experience for our youngest campers. This overnight experience provides a taste of all the fun of swimming, hiking, crafts, and active learning lessons under the careful eye of shepherds they know from Boston Avenue.

“God Is in Our Midst” encourages campers to find God in our everyday surroundings, our natural world and the communities they form. Campers engage in creek hikes, swimming, canoeing, worship, small groups, nature exploration and crafts.
Cost: $107 for Boston Avenue members, $214 for non-members
